This funds the annual costs of the Youth and Children Education Development program.
This is our longest and most successful program created by our founder, Father Denis, in 1996. It was created to serve both youth and younger children.
Each summer, our organization works with 14+ year old youth in rural satellite communities to provide enriching programs for the children in those communities. Our training programs prepare them to educate and empower approximately 200-300 children (ages 6-11) on topics such as human rights, self esteem building through arts & crafts and music.
The youth volunteer for this and get valuable training and meals while working. The children get daily food in the programs and get school supplies for the next academic year once completed.
